Within the Super Stock class there will be two additional sub-classes:
Sportsman - any driver who did not make a A, B or C Final in last years’ series, or is deemed to be of above this level by the EWS organisers. Any driver who makes TWO or more C Finals in this year's series will be promoted out of Sportsman and ineligible for the title.
Masters - any driver aged 40 years old or over as of the date of the first race of the season.
Amateur Stock 17.5 handout motor. All competitors must use Blinky/Zero timing speed controllers as per the BRCA or ROAR lists and a maximum gearing of 5.0 (May be adjusted during the season). This class is intended for genuine beginners or amateurs. Drivers with any form of sponsorship (including chassis, electronic or bodyshell manufacturers, distribution businesses and/or RC model/hobby shops) are not allowed to race in this class! No RC-branded clothing can be worn by drivers in this class ("club" or "event" shirts are OK). Any driver that the EWS team determine is not within the spirit of this class (based on results from EWS, BRCA, BTCC or other main winter series competitions) will be moved into the Super Stock class instead.
At the end of the season, any driver competing in all five rounds, including the season finale, can keep their motor.

Batteries must be charged to a maximum of 8.40v. Whilst connected to a charger/discharger batteries must be securely placed in a LiPo sack. Batteries must be charged or discharged using a LiPo charger on the LiPo settings, and must not be charged/discharged in excess of the manufactures guidelines, or 20A, whichever is lower. No heating or cooling of cells are allowed during charging or discharging.
